Drafter and Project Support

This position is responsible for supporting the Engineering and Construction teams in the preparation, development, updating, and control of technical drawings and quantity calculations (QTO/MTO/BOQ) for the Cut-Off Trench Area and Pipe Corridor packages under the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) project, ensuring seamless integration between approved designs, survey data, and actual site execution.

(Placement: Luwu, Sulawesi Selatan)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and update plan, profile, section, and detail drawings for Cut-Off Trench and Pipe Corridor packages using approved engineering designs and survey data.
• Incorporate survey/topographic data, chainage, coordinates, invert levels, and ground elevations into technical drawings.
• Prepare detailed drawings for pipe crossings, bends, supports, anchor blocks, concrete structures, and interface details with existing facilities.
• Conduct Quantity Take-Off (QTO) calculations for earthworks (excavation/backfill), structural concrete, rebar, geotextiles, pipelines, and fittings.
• Cross-check quantity calculations against MTO/BOQ to identify discrepancies and support Cost Control and Engineering teams.
• Develop, issue, and control IFC drawings, revision updates, and final As-Built drawings while maintaining structured drawing registers and CAD databases.
• Conduct site/field verifications alongside Survey and Construction teams to address site discrepancies promptly.

Qualification:

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Civil / Engineering Drafter in earthmoving, infrastructure, pipeline, mining, or heavy civil construction projects.
• Willing to be hired under a 3-month project-based contract.
• Available for immediate start / ASAP joining.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel are mandatory.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is strongly preferred.
• Solid capability in handling survey data, topographic maps, coordinates, elevations, and chainages.
• Demonstrated ability to calculate basic civil engineering material quantities accurately.
