What you will do

Responsibilities

• MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generates and revises 2-D and 3-D model and drawing files for mechanical designs. This will require use of AutoCad and Autodesk Inventor design software to generate drawings, parts and assemblies.
• Analyzes as-built fabrication drawings to determine if drawing revisions are warranted and complete all changes prior to equipment shipment.
• Follows and processes quality control procedures including proper revision control of drawings.
• Creates bill of material on design drawings and proper documentation to part data in ASC’s in-house software.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to generate drawings based on engineer models.
• Generate models based on reference models and execute design modifications as required.
• Complete revision updates across multiple designs to implement global production changes.
• Maintain organized files for models and drawings per ASC standards.
• Expected to demonstrate compatibility with ASC’s stated Team Values that include working safely, having a positive attitude, leading by example, showing an eagerness to learn, being a team player, working efficiently, and focusing on producing quality work.

Requirements

• The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic and dedicated team member who works well with others. Must have strong communication skills both verbally and in writing, as well as interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. A positive attitude and can-do approach are a must.
• Position requires proficient use of 2-D and 3-D computer design software and requires proof of courses taken in 3D modeling software or a minimum of 1 year work experience in related field.
• Computer efficiency and MS Office suite proficiency as well as the ability to operate electronic document management systems are necessary to be successful at the job. Must be able to type a minimum of 50 WPM.
