ABOUT THE ROLE :

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, technically skilled, and highly organized Drafter who understands that accurate technical drawings are essential to ensure smooth project execution in a fast-growing F&B business.

This role is more than just preparing drawings. You’ll be responsible for translating design concepts and sketches into complete, detailed, and execution-ready technical drawings, covering architectural details, interior layouts, outlet façades, and custom furniture. You’ll ensure that every drawing is accurate, practical, and aligned with design requirements, construction standards, and actual site conditions.

You’ll work closely with the Design, Project, Construction, and other related teams to ensure that drawings are properly coordinated, updated, and ready for implementation. If you have strong technical drawing skills, pay close attention to detail, and enjoy working on multiple projects in an ultra-fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

Prepare Complete Technical Drawings – Develop detailed working drawings covering architectural elements, interior layouts, outlet façades, construction details, and custom furniture or built-in elements.

• Translate Design Concepts into Working Drawings – Convert sketches, design concepts, and visual references from the Design team into accurate, practical, and execution-ready drawings for contractors.
• Develop Construction Details – Prepare detailed drawings, dimensions, material specifications, and installation details to support accurate project execution.
• Manage Drawing Revisions – Revise and update drawings based on feedback from the Design team, project requirements, and changes in site conditions.
• Coordinate with Project Teams – Collaborate with Design, Project, Construction, and other stakeholders to ensure drawings are aligned with project requirements and actual site conditions.
• Verify Drawing Accuracy – Review dimensions, layouts, technical details, and drawing completeness to minimize errors and prevent issues during construction.
• Support Site Implementation – Interpret site conditions and coordinate necessary drawing adjustments to ensure designs can be executed properly in the field.
• Manage Drawing Documentation – Maintain organized drawing files, revisions, technical documents, and archives to ensure easy access and proper version control.
• Handle Multiple Projects & Deadlines – Manage several drawing assignments simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
• Support Urgent Project Requirements – Adapt to changing priorities and provide flexible support, including outside regular working hours when required to meet project deadlines.

YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:
Hold a minimum SMK degree in Building Engineering/Drafting, D3/S1 in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

• Have at least 3 years of experience as a Drafter, preferably in an architectural or interior design consultancy handling hospitality, retail, or commercial projects. F&B retail experience is highly preferred.
• Are proficient in AutoCAD for 2D technical drawings.
• Have basic to intermediate skills in SketchUp or other 3D modeling software.
• Understand architectural and interior technical drawings, construction details, dimensions, and material specifications.
• Are able to read and interpret design drawings, sketches, and actual site conditions accurately.
• Have a good understanding of custom furniture, built-in elements, façade details, and construction methods.
• Have basic knowledge of restaurant utilities, including wastewater drainage, gas piping, high-power electrical installations for kitchen equipment, and kitchen ventilation/exhaust systems. This is an advantage.
• Are experienced in managing multiple projects with dynamic priorities and tight deadlines.
• Are detail-oriented, disciplined, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
• Have strong communication and coordination skills and can work independently or collaboratively.
• Are adaptable to changing project requirements and comfortable working in an ultra-fast-paced environment.
• Have flexible working hours and are willing to support urgent project needs when necessary.

Technical Test Requirements:

• Complete a technical drawing assessment within 1 × 24 hours of receiving the assignment.
• Submit the completed test in AutoCAD (.DWG) and PDF formats.
