Now Hiring: Drafter III

Are you an experienced drafting professional with a background in metal building construction? We're seeking a Drafter III to create detailed design drawings and material lists for pre-engineered metal building projects while serving as a technical resource and mentor to junior drafters.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and detail metal building drawings using AutoCAD, MBS, and TEKLA
• Develop accurate fabrication and installation drawings
• Review drawings and material lists for quality and accuracy
• Coordinate project schedules and workload across the drafting team
• Collaborate with sales, project management, and operations teams
• Manage outsourced detailing projects and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in the metal building industry , including bills of materials and installation drawings
• 2-4 years of AutoCAD experience preferred
• 1-2 years of MBS and TEKLA experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Additional Information

• Hybrid office/manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Up to 5% travel as needed
