Drafter - Process & Process Safety

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in preparing process engineering drawings, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and Utility Flow Diagrams (UFD).
• Assist in preparing and updating process safety-related drawings and technical documentation under the supervision of engineers.
• Prepare and revise technical drawings based on engineering specifications, design data, and instructions provided by engineers.
• Use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to develop and update engineering drawings.
• Incorporate comments and revisions from engineers into drawings as required.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and company quality procedures.
• Coordinate with process engineers, process safety engineers, and other team members to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Identify and report discrepancies or missing information in drawings to the responsible engineer.
• Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
• Assist the engineering team in completing project deliverables within the required deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with internship experience in drafting, process engineering, or process safety will have an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings, particularly PFD, P&ID, and UFD, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD software is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical drafting skills in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Able to manage assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month

• Wangsa Maju: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
