Drafter / CAD Operator

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, Drafting, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction or building industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit or BIM software will be an added advantage.
• Experience in preparing construction drawings, shop drawings, and detailed drawings.
• Familiar with building construction drawings and design coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with engineers, consultants, and project team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team during the design stage by preparing and updating drawings.
• Prepare, revise, and maintain construction drawings based on project requirements and consultant comments.
• Coordinate with Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, and other relevant parties on drawing requirements.
• Review drawings and identify discrepancies or coordination issues.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assist in the preparation of shop drawings, submission drawings, and as-built drawings when required.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions and document control.
• Support the project team with drafting and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform site visits and update drawings based on actual site conditions when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

Location: HQ – Damansara Uptown, Selangor

(Candidate may be assigned to project site as required by the company.)
