Drafting Engineer Electrical Mechanical

Job Title: Engineering Draftsman-Electrical & Instrumentation/Mechanical
Location: Ahmedabad

Role Summary
Responsible for preparing and reviewing electrical and instrumentation/Mechanical drawings and documentation for
engineering projects. Works closely with engineers to ensure drawings meet standards, client
requirements, and quality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare 2D electrical/Mechanical drawings, schematics, panel layouts, and general arrangements
Create electrical/Mechanical documents such as BOMs, interconnection diagrams, cable schedules, and asbuilt drawings
Support engineers in converting project requirements into complete drawing packages
Assist in preparing testing and technical documentation
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and quality systems
Support factory testing activities with a focus on safety and quality

Education & Experience
Diploma or degree in Electrical / Instrumentation or mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
5+ years of experience in electrical or instrumentation/Mechanical drafting

Skills Required
Basic electrical design and control philosophy knowledge
Familiar with fieldbus systems and communication cables
Proficient in AutoCAD / Elecdes / E-Plan or Solidworks for Mechanical
Good working knowledge of MS Excel
High attention to detail and good communication skills
