Drafting - Restaurant Design

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Drafting Specialist with a focus on restaurant design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting, with a preference for those familiar with restaurant layouts and interior design coordination. As a key member of our design team, you will collaborate closely with project coordinators and architects to ensure accurate and functional restaurant designs.

Duties

• Develop detailed technical drawings and plans for restaurant interiors, layouts, and fixtures based on conceptual designs and client requirements.
• Incorporate restaurant-specific drafting standards and best practices to produce clear, accurate, and comprehensive documentation.
• Assist in reviewing design proposals and making necessary adjustments to improve functionality and aesthetic appeal.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and contractors to facilitate smooth communication and project execution.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, and/or Revit
• Knowledge of restaurant layout considerations, including space planning, flow, safety regulations, and interior fixtures is a plus.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with project teams and coordinate tasks efficiently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
