Bishop & Company is seeking a Drafting Technician for an excellent client. In this role you will support the engineering department with drawings, research and other aspects of drafting.

Responsibilities:

• Support Customer Engineering Department with drafting need/demand.
• Create new drawings, revise existing drawings.
• Look for maps, drawings and documentations or information to assist Engineers and Planners with their projects.

Skills Required:

• Must have good working knowledge of computers.
• Must demonstrate the ability to read or interpret maps and drawings.
• Must demonstrate ability to draw and create drawings using AutoCAD or Microstation.
• Must have good clerical and administrative skills
• Must have strong oral, written, and listening skills
• Must have good interpersonal skills.

This position is 100% on site in Honolulu, HI and hours expected are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.The length of this position is 1 year or longer.

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $19-22/ Hr. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
