Draftman & Programmer

About the role

To support the Engineering / Programmer Department in engineering design, technical drawing preparation, project coordination and implementation. The role involves using CAD software to prepare and revise engineering drawings, coordinating with internal departments and supporting project execution to ensure that engineering requirements, quality standards and project schedules are met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and revise engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Assist in preparing 2D drawings and 3D models according to project specifications.
• Review technical drawings and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Make necessary drawing revisions based on project requirements and feedback.
• Assist in developing engineering solutions to meet design and fabrication requirements.
• Coordinate with the Programme, Production and other relevant departments on project requirements.
• Assist in monitoring project progress and ensuring engineering tasks are completed according to schedule.
• Provide engineering drawing support to the Production Department and clarify design specifications and technical details when required.
• Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, design files and technical documents.
• Ensure engineering drawings and designs comply with project specifications and company requirements.

About you

• Diploma or above in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience or related field experience.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or other relevant design software.
• Basic engineering design and technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and suitable CAD skills may also be considered.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
