Draftsman - Architectural/Structural

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil Draftsman – Architectural/Structural to join our real estate development team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Autodesk Revit and BIM, with proven experience working on high-rise residential towers, commercial buildings, and mixed-use developments.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate architectural and structural drawings, BIM models, detailed construction drawings, coordination drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation, while ensuring compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate Architectural and Structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings for residential, commercial, high-rise, and mixed-use developments.
• Prepare construction drawings, detailed drawings, shop drawings, and coordination drawings based on design and engineering requirements.
• Develop architectural layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and structural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Prepare structural plans, layouts, sections, reinforcement details, and other relevant construction documentation.
• Coordinate Architectural and Structural models with MEP and other disciplines to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Perform BIM coordination and clash detection using Revit and, preferably, Navisworks.
• Review consultant and engineering drawings and incorporate design revisions into BIM models and construction drawings.
• Update drawings and BIM models based on site conditions, engineering revisions, RFIs, and approved changes.
• Prepare accurate as-built drawings and BIM models based on completed works and site information.
• Ensure drawings and models comply with project specifications, design standards, BIM requirements, and applicable local regulations.
• Assist project teams with quantity take-offs, material schedules, and technical documentation where required.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure proper execution of drawings and models.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and BIM documentation in accordance with project requirements.
• Support the BIM team in maintaining model accuracy, standards, naming conventions, and document control.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Civil / Architectural / Structural Draftsman.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit / Revit BIM.
• Proven experience working on high-rise residential towers, commercial buildings, and mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of Architectural and Structural drafting and detailing.
• Strong hands-on experience in developing BIM models and construction documentation using Revit.
• Proficiency in:
• Autodesk Revit / Revit BIM
• AutoCAD
• Navisworks – preferred
• MS Office
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, engineering drawings, specifications, and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Good understanding of BIM coordination, model coordination, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination workflows.
• Experience in preparing shop drawings, coordination drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Experience with GCC projects and local authority requirements is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: Up to ﷼8,000.00 per month
