Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

• Generate internal production drawings from customer 3D models, including sheet metal flat patterns.
• Prepare weldment drawings with appropriate welding symbols based on customer drawings and 3D files.
• Create 3D models when customer-provided models are unavailable.
• Troubleshoot and resolve errors in customer 3D files.
• Plan and manage internal drawing outputs to meet project timelines.
• Monitor and report project progress to the Engineering Manager.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and suitable for production use.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect company and customer intellectual property (IP).

Requirements

• SPM, Diploma, or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• Fresh graduates with SolidWorks knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sheet metal or related manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of SolidWorks and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of sheet metal design and weldment drawings is an advantage.
• Good technical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
