Job Description for Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction and shop drawings for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines using AutoCAD and Revit.

• Develop and maintain 2D/3D BIM models based on project requirements and coordination inputs.

• Assist in BIM coordination meetings and clash detection processes using tools such as Navisworks or Solibri.

• Update models and drawings to reflect design changes, site conditions, and client/consultant feedback.

• Ensure all drawings and models comply with BCA standards and relevant Singapore building regulations.

• Organize and maintain project documentation and drawing records in line with ISO and company quality procedures.

• Support the preparation of as-built models and documentation upon project completion.

Requirements

• Diploma/ITE in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Design, or related discipline.

• Minimum 2–4 years of drafting experience in the construction industry, preferably in Singapore.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM workflows.

• Familiarity with BIM software such as Navisworks, BIM 360, or ArchiCAD.

• Solid understanding of Singapore’s building codes and submission standards (e.g., BCA, URA, SCDF).

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate across disciplines
