DRAFTSMAN

About the role

Responsible for preparing, developing, and updating technical drawings and plans for construction and engineering projects. The Draftsman works closely with the Engineering team to ensure that drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant with project requirements. The position requires proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical plans and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, construction plans, layouts, and other project-related drawings.
• Create and revise 2D drawings using AutoCAD based on engineering and architectural requirements.
• Develop 3D models and visual presentations using SketchUp.
• Update drawings based on site conditions, design changes, and instructions from the Engineering team.
• Assist engineers and project personnel in preparing drawings for construction implementation.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, specifications, and completeness.
• Maintain and organize drawing files, revisions, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and other project personnel regarding drawing requirements.
• Conduct site measurements and prepare as-built drawings when required.
• Ensure that all drawings are properly labeled, scaled, dated, and filed.

About you

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in drafting, construction, engineering, or architectural projects.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
• Must have working knowledge of SketchUp.
• Knowledge of technical drawings, construction plans, and basic drafting standards.
• Able to read and interpret engineering and architectural plans.
• Detail-oriented and able to produce accurate drawings.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Willing to conduct site visits and take field measurements when required.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with the Engineering team.
