Draftsman – Roads & Infrastructure

Position: Draftsman
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Industry: Roads & Infrastructure
Salary: AED 8,000 – 12,000 per month

Job Description:

• Prepare detailed technical and construction drawings for roads and infrastructure projects.
• Develop road layouts, profiles, cross-sections, grading plans, drainage and utility drawings.
• Prepare shop drawings, IFC drawings, as-built drawings and construction details.
• Coordinate with Civil Engineers, Surveyors, Project Managers and site teams.
• Review and revise drawings based on engineering requirements, site conditions and consultant/client comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, UAE authority requirements and relevant standards.
• Maintain proper drawing registers, revisions and documentation.
• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and technical details when required.
• Ensure accuracy, quality and timely submission of all drawings.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Roads & Infrastructure projects.
• UAE experience in roads, highways, drainage and utilities is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; Civil 3D knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of road layouts, drainage, utilities, grading and civil construction drawings.
• Good understanding of UAE construction standards and authority requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under project deadlines.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
