What they need
· Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering or a related field.
· At least 1 year work experience as Draftsman in construction industry.
· Proficient in CAD and related software.
· Detail oriented and familiar with construction related codes (Building Codes, Fire Codes, etc).
· Excellent communication skills, able to solve design and drawing conflicts, strong work ethic.
· Conduct surveys to gather necessary information for drawings.
· Revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project requirements.
· Create and maintain drawing archives for projects.
· Assist in project estimates process by providing accurate details and quantity takeoffs.
· Prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiency to meet project deadlines.
