About Us

ATIS Building Contracting LLC is a Dubai-based contractor specializing in interior fit-out and joinery works. As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Draftsman to join our technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for interior fit-out and joinery works, including ceilings, partitions, flooring, wall finishes, doors and cabinetry
• Develop joinery fabrication drawings with accurate dimensions, sections, elevations and material specifications for the workshop
• Review architectural and interior design drawings and translate them into buildable shop drawings
• Revise and resubmit drawings based on consultant and client comments
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers and the joinery workshop to resolve technical issues
• Incorporate site measurements and as-built conditions into drawings
• Coordinate with MEP drawings to avoid clashes with services
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion
• Maintain an organized drawing register and ensure proper revision control
• Assist the Quantity Surveyor with drawings needed for take-offs when required

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp or 3D modelling software is an advantage
• Good understanding of joinery detailing, fit-out materials and construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
• UAE experience in fit-out or joinery is preferred; fresh graduates with strong drafting skills are also encouraged to apply

Experience:

• Draftsman: 2 years (Required)
• Construction/Joinery: 2 years (Required)
