Draftsman

About This Role

• Prepare and develop detailed electrical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD in accordance with project requirements.
• Prepare preliminary, tender, shop, construction, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, properly detailed, and completed within project deadlines.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Operations Teams regarding drawing requirements and revisions.
• Prepare electrical layouts, including lighting, power distribution, cable routing, and related systems.
• Incorporate approved design changes and modifications into final drawings.
• Conduct site visits and measurements when required to verify drawing accuracy.
• Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical documentation for procurement.
• Support tendering activities and attend technical coordination meetings when required.
• Maintain proper records of approved drawings and ensure easy accessibility for project reference.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.

• Comply with company information security policies.

• Report any information security concerns to the relevant department.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Draftsmanship from a recognized institute or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant experience in electrical drafting and preparation of technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant drafting software.
• Good knowledge of electrical layouts, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience in infrastructure, landscaping, or related projects is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively with project teams.
