Draftsman

Job Purpose

The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, construction plans, and detailed layouts for residential, commercial, and real estate development projects. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, attention to technical detail, and the ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and site teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications and construction requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural, structural, and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, site layouts, and working drawings for residential buildings and luxury villas.
• Prepare as-built drawings and revise existing drawings according to site conditions and design changes.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Review drawings for dimensions, specifications, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
• Incorporate revisions and maintain proper records of drawing versions.
• Assist in preparing detailed drawings for interior layouts, finishing works, and construction detailing.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions and coordinate drawings with actual site conditions.
• Maintain organized drawing files, documentation, and project records.
• Ensure drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a relevant technical qualification.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field will be an advantage.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, architectural drafting, or real estate development.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting software is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret architectural plans, technical drawings, and construction details.
• Experience with residential buildings, villas, and interior finishing drawings is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and coordination skills.

• Compliance with project specifications and deadlines.

Preferred Candidate: A detail-oriented Draftsman with practical construction experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and exposure to residential projects, luxury villas, and architectural working drawings.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
