Draftsman - Interior and Fit out

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior & Fit-Out Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, shop drawings, and detailed fit-out documentation for projects. The candidate should have a strong understanding of interior fit-out standards, construction methods, and coordination with project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed interior fit-out shop drawings and construction drawings.
• Develop joinery, ceiling, flooring, partition, and furniture detail drawings.
• Produce as-built drawings and revise drawings based on site conditions.
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, project managers, and site teams.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and local regulations.
• Review architectural and MEP drawings for coordination and clash detection.
• Prepare material take-offs and assist with project documentation.
• Maintain drawing records and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3**–5 years** of experience in interior fit-out drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience with SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D software is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out detailing and joinery drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with commercial, retail, office, or hospitality fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of local building codes and fit-out standards.
• Familiarity with quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation is an advantage.

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
