Job Description (JD) – Interior Draftsman

Experience: 2–3 Years

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Interior Draftsman with 2–3 years of experience in preparing detailed technical drawings for interior design and execution projects. The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and able to coordinate with interior designers, site teams, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, including floor plans, furniture layouts, sections, and elevations.
• Develop working drawings for modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings, and other interior elements.
• Prepare electrical, lighting, flooring, and reflected ceiling plans.
• Create detailed joinery, furniture, and fabrication drawings with dimensions.
• Revise drawings based on design changes and client requirements.
• Coordinate with designers, site engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and follow project specifications.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions and documentation.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of interior execution and working drawings.
• Understanding of furniture detailing, materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Ability to read architectural and interior design drawings.
• Good understanding of dimensions, measurements, and site requirements.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other design software is an advantage.

Eligibility

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in interior drafting.
• Good attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
