DRAFTSMAN / MECHANICAL DESIGNER

About the role

Mechanical Designer / draftsman role providing indoor and outdoor automation Engineering support and service to the Company's existing clients. The position involves creating good business relationships with clients, assisting in developing grounds for new business and orders, and ensuring accurate submission of drawings and plans.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Engineering Manager/Director on clerical work
• Provide indoor and outdoor automation Engineering support and service to existing clients
• Create and maintain good business relationships with clients
• Assist in developing grounds for new business and orders from customers
• Be responsible for submission of drawings, plans and ensure information is accurate and complete
• Issue quotation for customers
• Attend to walk-in customers and confirmed purchase orders received by fax or email
• Maintain sales orders by input to the system and confirm sales and issue work orders to Production Control Department
• Liaise with Production department for work order status and ensure customer requirements are met in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance to ISO 9001 Quality Management System and Company 5S Implementation

About you

• At least SPM or above level
• At least 1 year relevant working experience
• Computer literate
