Draftsman/Interior Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by engineers, architects, or designers. The Draftsman will play a key role in the development and visualization of engineering or architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings and plans using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
• Interpret and translate rough sketches and specifications into technical drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry and company standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify design details.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback and changes.
• Maintain organized project files and document revisions.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and bill of materials (BOM) preparation.
• Conduct site visits as needed to gather data or verify measurements.
• Visit project sites to confirm that designs are implemented as per approved shop.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
• Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations is a plus.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and coordination across disciplines.
