Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Draftsman to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for converting complex engineering designs into precise technical drawings and electrical schematics by using Auto-CAD and PCSchematics Automation software respectively. This role is critical in ensuring that our manufacturing and assembly teams have accurate blueprints for high-stakes industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Drawing: Create detailed 2D electrical schematics / wiring

diagrams on PCSchematics Automation and 2D/3D GA (General

Arrangement) drawings on Auto-CAD for industrial battery chargers and DC

systems.

• Design Collaboration: Coordinate with the design and production engineers

to understand project requirements and translate conceptual sketches into

finalized technical layouts.

• Documentation: Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure all drawings

comply with industry standards (IS/IEC) and client specifications.

• Revision Management: Update and modify existing drawings based on client

comments or feedback from the testing / site installation teams.

• Standardization: Maintain a digital library of components and standard

templates to improve drafting efficiency.Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

• Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on with AutoCAD (2D/3D) is

mandatory. Familiarity with PCSchematics Automation and SolidWorks is a

significant advantage.

• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical symbols, circuit

theory, and industrial panel layouts.

• Soft Skills: High level of accuracy, ability to meet deadlines, and strong

communication skills to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Important

• Electrical background preferred.
• Autocad experience and practice of minimum 1 or 2 years is a MUST. Test will be given to assess your skills in Autocad.
• Should be good in English communication- conversation and email also. This is also a MUST.
• Power industry experience preferred
• Physical interview only for 1st round
