As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated Draftsperson to join our close-knit team.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Drafting Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant, and buildable working drawings for single-storey homes. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities include:

• Ability to produce clear compliant working drawings from sales sketch and client requirements.
• Review drawings and documents for accuracy, completeness and compliance with codes and standards.
• Ability to identify missing information and construction issues prior to completion of drawings.
• Review and understand external stakeholder documentation including site surveys and engineering details.
• Apply and updated plans to match pre-start selections.
• Assist in producing complete and compliant design sketches for sales team.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role is a practical, detail focused draftsperson with experience in single storey residential construction, who can produce clear, buildable drawings. You enjoy working collaboratively while also being confident to take initiative.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential drafting (Australia).
• Certificate IV (or higher) in Residential Drafting or Building Design.
• Strong knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards, R-Codes, RMD and Developer guidelines.
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD is essential.
• Solid understanding of single-storey residential construction.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.

Desirable:

• Experience with timber framing.
