We are seeking to employ an experienced Solidworks Designer to join our team.

Our offices & factory are based in Auckland, conveniently located within the Rosebank Road industrial precinct giving quick access both on and off the motorway, (just 12 minutes from the city centre). With lots of easy parking, the role also has the added advantage of tailored working hours to help avoid the traffic.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be a key member of our team
• Carry out 3D design modelling of our products
• Create our workshop drawings using Auto CAD software & SolidWorks software
• Follow instructions and guidance from our Senior Design Team
• Liaise with our manufacturing team
• Potentially be involved with our 3D scanning team both onsite and off site
• Follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and update as required

KEY ATTRIBUTES

• Practical mindset, you must have a personal interest in making things.

• Attention to detail.

• High standard of presentation and accuracy of work.

• AutoCAD experience

• Solidworks (or similar) experience of at least 5 years is essential

• A structured and organised approach

• Able to follow SOP’s.

• Works well under pressure

• A knowledge of the marine industry an advantage but not essential.
