Salary dependent on experience, plus performance-related bonus
CJM Facilities Management Ltd is looking for an experienced drainage professional to help build and lead our drainage division.
We provide maintenance services to commercial customers across Northern Ireland. We are developing our drainage services, including drain unblocking, high-pressure jetting, CCTV surveys, planned maintenance and grease trap servicing, with ambitions to expand into tanker operations.
Working directly with the Managing Director, you will have a real say in how the division develops, from equipment and working practices to recruitment and customer service.
The division is at an early stage. Initially, you will carry out drainage work yourself while helping organise jobs, prepare quotations and develop customer relationships. As the workload grows, you will help recruit and lead a team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out high-pressure drain jetting, unblocking, CCTV inspections and fault finding.
- Assessing jobs and recommending suitable repairs or maintenance.
- Planning work, organising equipment and helping prepare accurate quotations.
- Developing grease trap cleaning and servicing, including assessing systems and recommending maintenance schedules.
- Building planned maintenance programmes for commercial customers.
- Producing clear job reports, survey findings and recommendations.
- Maintaining equipment and following safe working practices.
- Building customer relationships and identifying opportunities for further work.
- Helping recruit, train and supervise staff as the division grows.
- Monitoring job costs, productivity and profitability with the management team.
- Supporting future expansion into tanker services.
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven practical experience in drainage, including high-pressure jetting and CCTV inspections.
- A good working knowledge of grease traps and grease management systems, including their operation, cleaning, servicing and common faults.
- The ability to assess problems, organise work and work independently.
- Confidence dealing with commercial customers.
- An understanding of job costs and the importance of profitable work.
- High standards of safety, workmanship and customer care.
- The ambition to take responsibility and help build a successful team.
- A full driving licence valid in the UK.
Experience in quoting, supervising staff, commercial maintenance contracts or tanker operations would be an advantage.
We welcome applications from experienced drainage managers and supervisors, as well as experienced drainage engineers ready to take the next step.
What we offer:
- Salary reflecting your experience and responsibilities.
- Performance-related bonus linked to agreed targets and division profitability.
- Existing drainage equipment and office support.
- Direct involvement in decisions about equipment, recruitment and future services.
- The opportunity to grow your responsibilities and earnings as the division develops.
We want to build a team people are proud to be part of, where good service, teamwork and strong results are recognised and rewarded.
Apply with your CV and a brief summary of your drainage experience, including any grease trap, quoting or supervisory experience.
