Drainage Engineer

Job Description

Description;

• Leading a design team advancing water resources flood control and drainage projects, such as large storm drainage pipelines, culverts, open channels, large trash-capture devices, flood walls, levees, hydraulic structures, appurtenant roadways, etc..
• Field review of project sites to develop designs for new or rehabilitated facilities.
• Preparing and overseeing technical analyses and engineering designs.
• Coordinating with Project owners, resource and permitting agencies, and outside consultants.
• Performing AutoCAD Drafting and GIS Exhibit Development
• Construction coordination/inspection/management/documents review

Qualifications & Skills;

• Proven ability to manage projects, clients, and teams, including providing direction to staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
• Over 5 years of experience in preparing technical engineering analyses and designs for Water Resource projects.
• Extensive experience serving as a Project Engineer on Water Resources projects.
• Active participation in professional organizations related to the industry.
