Draughtsman – Fire Fighting Systems

• Develop detailed technical drawings and schematics for fire suppression systems, including sprinkler layouts, pipe sizing, and equipment placement.
• Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings to ensure seamless integration of fire fighting systems.
• Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create and modify 2D and 3D models, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs for fire fighting system components, facilitating procurement and budgeting.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Holds relevant certifications such as NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) or equivalent.
• Has a minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Draughtsman specifically in fire fighting systems design and drafting.
• Demonstrates advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with BIM software like Revit MEP, essential for modern design workflows.
