Draughtsman, Mechanical

This role will be responsible for all drafting functions such as but not limited to produce drawings’ notes, legend, drawings’ list and detailing. This role envisages cross functional interaction between departments with discipline of process in-house design, structural, mechanical & electrical, instrumentation and design in the company.

Requirements :

1. Certificate/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2 years of working experience as draughter with consultant firms or property developer.
3. Proficient with AUTOCAD.

Tasks & Responsibilities :

1. To create and produce AutoCAD drawings from hand sketch or existing project drawings on Mechanical Systems includes:
   • Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation System
   • Fire Protection Services
   • Hot, Cold Water and Sanitary Plumbing Services
   • Swimming Pool and Water Feature Services
2. To assist in tendering M&E contracts, preparing relevant documents, drawings, specifications calculation and others.
3. To collaborate with project team to develop design from concept through detailed drawings.
4. To produce the Mechanical schematics and standard detailing layouts.
5. To ensure the drawing are prepared in accordance with the design requirements and specification.
6. To perform and assist in the daily works such as drafting and revised drawing.
7. To update and maintain project drawings.
8. To develop detailed designs with computer-aided design (AutoCAD) software.
9. To maintain engineering logs of drawings, procedures and quality standards.
10. To be responsible for project liaison, coordination and reporting with all in-house team and other drafters.
11. To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.
