Hours:
Full time, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bridal Dressmakers, Dressmakers, Sewists, Machinists, Tailors or Tailoresses to join our client's talented team in Parnell, Auckland. In this role, you will assist in the construction and alteration of bridal garments, including new designs, vintage garments, and custom alterations. Working in a collaborative workroom environment, you will help bring intricate bridal designs to life, ensuring high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to garment construction tasks, following the production schedule and design instructions.
• Ensure effective timekeeping on each project to assist with job costing and budgeting.
• Assist with the production of new bridal gowns and perform alterations on existing and vintage bridal garments.
• QC garments in line with garment specifications.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping and complete all administration tasks promptly and to a professional standard.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience in sample making or Bridal/Fashion garment construction.
• Full garment construction.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Good communication skills and a team player attitude.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to deadlines.
• Qualification Requirements: New Zealand Certificate in Apparel and Fashion Technology (Level 4). Alternatively, the New Zealand Certificate in Fashion (Level 4) or 3+ years of relevant experience).
