Drill Fitter – FIFO 2:1

FIFO 2:1 | Production Mining | Caterpillar 650 & 640 | $80–$85 PH

We are currently seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join a production mining operation on a FIFO 2:1 roster.

This role is suited to a highly skilled tradesperson with extensive experience working on large production drill rigs, with strong mechanical and hydraulic capabilities.

Key requirements:

• Extensive experience working on Caterpillar 650 and 640 drill rigs
• Proven experience completing full machine rebuilds
• Extensive component overhaul and repair experience
• Experience with drill rig upgrades and life extension solutions
• Experience across major drill rig brands
• Specialist hydraulic diagnostics and fault finding
• Hydraulic hose manufacture and repairs
• Hydraulic component repairs and overhauls
• Hydraulic system troubleshooting and optimisation
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing maintenance team
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
