EMS-WA is currently seeking a Competent Underground HV Electrician to perform services on underground Production and Exploration Drill Rigs. We also upgrade/ refurb and build new Drill rigs mostly Diamond drilling Rigs

We require you to commence as soon as possible in Kalgoorlie. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team, in a stable and secure permanent position.

About the Role:

• You will be Kalgoorlie Based but will be required to travel to sites to perform services and breakdowns on Various Manufacturer's Production/ Exploration Drill Rigs U/G and on Surface which also includes On Call on schedule.
• Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible to monitor the status and condition of electrical equipment and advise the client/ supervisor of any concerns or problem areas and complete all statutory checks and documents required.
• You will also assist in new and refurbished rig builds as required.

Skills & Experience:

• Western Australian Electrical Trade Certificate

• Demonstrated experience working within an underground mining environment.

• Knowledge and application of safe and reliable electrical installation and maintenance.

• Current knowledge of Underground Production and Exploration Drills will be advantageous.

• Be able to read and interpret machinery electrical schematics.

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position

• Current 'C' Class Driver's License (minimum)

• National Police Clearance (within 3 months)

• Drug and Alcohol Screen on request.

• Pre- Employment Medical as required by employer.
