Role Description The Drilling Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily drilling operations at assigned sites and ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements. The role involves managing drilling crews, coordinating operational activities, monitoring drilling progress, and ensuring compliance with company safety and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities Drilling Operations Supervision

• Supervise daily drilling activities at assigned drilling sites.
• Ensure drilling operations follow the approved drilling plan and project specifications.
• Monitor drilling progress and report operational performance.
• Ensure drilling targets and production goals are achieved.
• Support troubleshooting and resolve operational issues during drilling.

Team Supervision

• Supervise Senior Drillers, Drillers, and drilling crew members.
• Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to the team.
• Ensure effective coordination and communication among drilling teams.
• Provide guidance and technical support to drilling crews.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and safety standards.
• Monitor safe work practices and ensure the proper use of PPE.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Report safety incidents, hazards, and near misses.

Equipment and Site Management

• Ensure drilling rigs and equipment are operated and maintained properly.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment servicing and repairs.
• Monitor the use of drilling fluids, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure drilling sites are organized, clean, and safe.

Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain daily drilling reports and operational records.
• Record drilling progress, depth achieved, and operational issues.
• Submit reports to the Drilling Manager.
• Ensure all operational documentation is properly maintained.

Qualifications

• A diploma or degree in drilling operations, engineering, geology, or a related field is preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in drilling operations.
• Previous experience supervising drilling crews in field operations.
• Strong knowledge of drilling techniques and drilling equipment.
