- Operate CNC drilling and tapping machines according to production requirements.
- Set up machines, tools, drill bits and tapping tools.
- Perform drilling and tapping operations according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select the correct drill and tap sizes for different materials and thread specifications.
- Check hole size, thread quality, depth and dimensions using measuring instruments.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot common machining issues.
- Ensure workpieces meet required quality and dimensional standards.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic daily machine maintenance.
- Follow production schedules, safety procedures and company requirements.
