Drinks Supply Chain Manager - Drogheda

• Working collaboratively with production, operations, sales, procurement, and key supply chain partners across the spirits and alcoholic beverage sector to deliver departmental and business objectives.
• Conducting market research and supply chain analysis to identify and evaluate new sourcing opportunities, distilleries, bottling partners, packaging suppliers, and ingredient providers in existing and emerging alcohol markets.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with distilleries, wineries, breweries, bottling facilities, bonded warehouses, logistics providers, and other key industry partners.
• Supporting Site Directors in the negotiation of commercial agreements for alcohol products, packaging materials, contract manufacturing, and strategic supply partnerships.
• Leading negotiations for long-term strategic partnerships with suppliers across the spirits, wine, beer, and premium beverage sectors.
• Driving the effective use of supplier performance management frameworks, ensuring continuous improvement and reporting key supply chain metrics to senior management.
• Resolving day-to-day supplier and service issues to ensure uninterrupted product availability and operational continuity.
• Reviewing and enhancing product and service offerings from preferred suppliers to align with changing consumer demand, market trends, and business requirements.
• Managing supplier prequalification, compliance verification, onboarding, and ongoing performance assessment.
• Developing and implementing supplier engagement and partnership programmes in conjunction with senior leadership teams.
• Producing monthly procurement and supply chain performance dashboards, highlighting progress against annual procurement and production planning objectives.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations relating to alcoholic beverages, including excise requirements, bonded warehousing, alcohol labelling, traceability, product quality, and responsible sourcing standards.

You will have:

• Proven experience in strategic procurement, supply chain management, sourcing, or commercial operations within the spirits, wine, beer, cider, or wider alcoholic beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of alcohol industry supply chains, including ingredients, packaging, bottling, contract production, distribution, and retail channels.
• Working knowledge of excise duty regulations, bonded warehouse operations, alcohol labelling requirements, and relevant regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, commercial, and financial acumen with strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• A track record of developing strategic supplier relationships and delivering measurable commercial value.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Experience using procurement systems, ERP platforms, and advanced Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong organisational and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
