Responsibilities

• Safely operate a range of vehicles including vans, passenger vans, shuttle buses, limousines, and other commercial passenger vehicles on local routes.
• Deliver goods, packages, or passengers promptly while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with state transportation regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, passengers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and ensuring comfort during transit.
• Handle heavy lifting when loading or unloading cargo or luggage in accordance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition reports for compliance purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or chauffeur with a strong background in passenger vehicle operation.
• Experience driving buses, shuttle vans, limousines, or medical transportation vehicles preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time navigation.
• Knowledge of local driving routes as well as state transportation regulations governing commercial driving.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type; clean driving record required.
• Ability to manage heavy lifting tasks and perform routine vehicle maintenance checks confidently.
