Drive Test Expert

Location: Remote, India

We are seeking a skilled Drive Test Expert to support daily field-testing activities and coordinate with drive test teams. This remote opportunity is suited to a telecom professional with hands-on drive testing experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and clear communication.

Required Skills & Experience

• Graduate in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Drive Tester in the telecom industry.
• Hands-on experience with XCAL, XCAP, TEMS, ACTIX, QXDM, TAQI, Google Earth, and MapInfo, including EST file creation for navigation.
• Experience with scanner-related drives and troubleshooting.
• Ability to guide field teams in configuring and connecting UEs, scanners, MPM4, and EZMO devices.
• Experience preparing scripts for site acceptance testing, cluster drives, market drives, scanner drives, and MOS drives.
• Good understanding of 4G/5G KPIs.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support drive test teams with daily testing assigned by RF engineers and clients.
• Provide remote guidance on equipment setup, device connectivity, and test execution.
• Prepare testing scripts and troubleshoot scanner and throughput testing issues.
• Lead, track, and monitor drive tester performance, including miles driven and ATP site pass/fail results.
• Maintain clear communication with field teams to support successful testing.

• Technologies: 4G LTE and 5G.
• Tools: XCAL, XCAP, TEMS, ACTIX, QXDM, TAQI, Google Earth, and MapInfo.
• Equipment: UEs, scanners, MPM4, and EZMO.

Daily Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing assignments and communicate requirements to field teams.
• Support testers with configuration and troubleshooting.
• Track testing progress, performance, and site acceptance results.
• Maintain testing records and reports using MS Office and Excel.
