Driver & Inventory Controller

Role Purpose

To support the maintenance operation through efficient driving, purchasing, stock control and distribution of materials and consumables.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive for supplier collections, deliveries and operational requirements.
• Source AC, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance parts.
• Maintain good knowledge of Dubai suppliers and identify new suppliers where beneficial.
• Compare prices and negotiate to achieve the best value.
• Identify opportunities for bulk purchasing and cost savings.
• Maintain suitable stock levels of commonly used parts and consumables.
• Manage inventory, stock counts and accurate records in Zoho or company systems.
• Control and record materials issued to technicians and jobs.
• Keep the store organised and ensure materials are readily available.
• Plan collections and deliveries efficiently to reduce technician downtime and unnecessary travel.
• Work closely with the Service Manager and field teams to understand material requirements.

Requirements

• Previous UAE maintenance/FM experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of AC, plumbing and electrical parts and consumables.
• Knowledge of maintenance suppliers across Dubai.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Commercially aware with good negotiation skills.
• Inventory/store experience.
• Organised, reliable and comfortable using basic computer systems.

Most important: This is not simply a driver/storekeeper role. We need someone who understands maintenance materials, knows where to source them and actively looks for ways to reduce purchasing costs.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
