Driver / Chauffeur

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and professional Driver / Chauffeur to join our team in Belgium. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of passengers, goods, or company materials while providing a high standard of customer service.

The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers, goods, documents, or company materials.
• Follow planned routes and ensure timely arrivals and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented vehicle.
• Perform basic vehicle safety checks before and after each journey.
• Monitor fuel levels, vehicle condition, and maintenance requirements.
• Comply with Belgian traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Assist passengers with luggage or goods when required.
• Complete delivery documents, trip records, and other required paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Report accidents, vehicle defects, delays, or other issues promptly.
• Use GPS and navigation systems to plan efficient routes.
• Maintain confidentiality when transporting documents or sensitive materials.

Requirements

• Valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle.
• Previous professional driving experience is preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of local roads and navigation systems.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible attitude.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively.
• Physical ability to load and unload goods when required.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when required.
• Knowledge of Dutch, French, or English depending on the location and role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a professional driver, chauffeur, delivery driver, or courier.
• Experience with passenger transportation or commercial deliveries.
• Knowledge of Brussels and other major Belgian cities.
• Experience using delivery or route-management applications.
• Additional driving qualifications for commercial vehicles are an advantage.
