Driver - Class B

Job Role: Food service delivery driver responsible for safely transporting and unloading food products to customers, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining good customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate straight trucks (Class B) on local, intrastate, and interstate routes, adhering to DOT regulations.
• Perform safety checks, inspect trucks and trailers, and report safety issues or repairs.
• Follow all DOT and company driving policies, securing freight and verifying loads.
• Deliver, unload, and document customer orders accurately, obtaining signatures and managing returns.
• Assist with loading, trailer management, and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
• Complete required paperwork, logs, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Class B license, 21+ years old, with a clean MVR.
• Meet state licensing, DOT health card, and certification requirements.
• Ability to lift and handle freight weighing 10-90 pounds and operate loading equipment.
• Pass drug tests, background checks, road tests, and comply with safety standards.
