About the opportunity  
 
Looking for a role that gets you out on the road and keeps you active? Our Christchurch Branch is on the hunt for a confident and reliable driver to join our awesome team!
 
If you enjoy being hands-on, working with a great bunch of people, and providing excellent service to customers, this could be the perfect role for you. What your day will look like:

• Delivering products to sites and building strong relationships with our customers.
• Assisting with Inwards Goods - picking and packing orders, stocking shelves and cycle counting.
• Supporting other areas of the branch as needed.

This role could be a great fit for Plumbers, Tradies, or those from a trade background who are looking to step away from the tools while still staying connected to the industry. Your practical knowledge and customer-focused approach will be highly valued as you help support customers and the wider team.

• Trade knowledge is a bonus, but not essential - we'll teach you what you need to know!

This role is a permanent full-time position working 42.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
 
To be successful in this role you will need:

• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations.
• knowledgeable of the Christchurch/Canterbury area
• Good sales & service skills.
• Reliable with a great attitude.
• Good time management.
• Work well under pressure while displaying good sound logic.
• Customer Focus is a must (mainly trade related)
• Physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting (up to 20kgs)
• A full, clean New Zealand drivers' licence.
• Pride in personal appearance with great interpersonal skills.
