About the role

ABest Express Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Driver to join our Couriers, Drivers & Postal Services team. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Driver, you will be a critical component of our logistics operations, responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages and parcels to our customers throughout the region. Your role is essential to maintaining ABest Express Inc.'s reputation for reliable and professional courier services, ensuring that every delivery reflects our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Collect and deliver packages to designated locations within assigned routes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks to ensure the vehicle remains in good working condition
• Record delivery information accurately, including customer signatures and delivery times, using company systems
• Handle packages with care, ensuring they reach customers in undamaged condition
• Communicate professionally with customers and address any delivery-related concerns or queries
• Plan routes efficiently to optimise delivery schedules and reduce fuel consumption
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanour when interacting with customers and colleagues
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues, accidents or incidents immediately to management
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly delivery targets and performance standards

What we're looking for

• Valid driver's licence appropriate for commercial vehicle operation in the Philippines
• Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in courier or logistics services
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
• Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with Quezon City and surrounding Metro Manila areas
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25kg regularly
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication
• Reliability and punctuality in meeting delivery schedules
• Ability to work independently whilst adhering to company policies and procedures
• Proficiency in basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting would be advantageous
