Driver

Job Responsibility

Responsible for providing safe, reliable, and punctual transportation for the MD, VIP visitors, and associates. The role includes supporting daily travel, business appointments, and airport transfers while ensuring the safety and comfort. The driver must maintain professionalism, discretion, and flexibility.

-Transportation

• Safely and professionally transport the MD, VIP visitors, and associates to meetings, events, airport transfers, and other official appointments.
• Ensure punctuality and availability, including weekends and public holidays when required.

-Vehicle Management

• Maintain assigned vehicles in clean, safe, and excellent working condition.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and coordinate servicing, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
• Keep records of vehicle mileage, servicing, and maintenance.

-Safety & Confidentiality

• Comply with all traffic laws and company safety requirements.
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and security of passengers at all times.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the MD's business and personal matters.

-Route & Schedule Coordination

• Plan efficient travel routes and adjust schedules based on traffic, weather, and operational needs.
• Coordinate closely with the MD's office to support travel arrangements.

-General Support

• Perform ad hoc errands, including document delivery and parcel collection.
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage and stand by during meetings or events when required.

Job Requirement:

1. Minimum SPM or Diploma qualification
2. Minimum 5–8 years of driving experience, including experience supporting senior management or VIPs
3. Strong defensive driving skills with experience handling executive / luxury vehicles
4. Good knowledge of local roads, highways, and traffic conditions
5. Good command of spoken English; ability to communicate in Japanese will be an added advantage.
6. Punctual, reliable and service oriented
7. Willing to work extended hours, including weekends and public holidays when required
