Driver

Core Driving Duties

• Safely transport the employer, staff, clients, or goods to and from designated locations in a timely manner
• Plan routes ahead of time, taking Lagos traffic conditions into account, and use alternative routes when necessary
• Obey all FRSC and state traffic regulations, road signs, and speed limits at all times
• Maintain a valid driver's licence and ensure vehicle particulars (insurance, road worthiness, registration) are current

Vehicle Care & Maintenance

• Carry out daily pre-trip inspections (oil, water, tyres, brakes, lights, fuel level)
• Keep the vehicle clean inside and out at all times
• Report faults promptly and follow up on scheduled servicing and repairs
• Keep records of fuel purchases, mileage, and maintenance (vehicle logbook)

Administrative & Support Duties

• Run official errands — deliveries, pickups, bank runs, dispatch of documents
• Assist with loading and offloading goods or luggage
• Keep accurate records of trips, expenses, and receipts
• Maintain confidentiality regarding the employer's affairs and movements

Safety & Conduct

• Ensure passengers use seatbelts and observe safety practices
• Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or use a phone while driving
• Report any accidents or incidents to the employer and appropriate authorities immediately
• Be punctual, well-groomed, courteous, and professional at all times

Typical Requirements

• Valid Nigerian driver's license
• Proven driving experience (often 2–5 years)
• Good knowledge of Lagos routes and traffic patterns
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC; ability to communicate in English

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
