We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, across over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries.
• Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules.
• Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured according to safety standards.
• Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods or hazardous materials.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses, route changes, or safety incidents.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including tractor-trailer operations and route driving.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for dangerous goods transportation.
• Proficiency with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time tracking.
• Ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform manual handling tasks during loading/unloading processes.
• Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with over-the-road (OTR) routes preferred.
• Ability to adhere strictly to safety standards while managing the physical demands of truck loading and unloading tasks.
