About the role

We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join Unimetal Services Philippines Inc. This is a full-time position based in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers and goods whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, punctuality and customer service. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring that our clients receive dependable and professional transportation services.

What you'll be doing

• Operating vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies
• Transporting passengers and/or goods to designated destinations in a timely manner
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing routine maintenance checks on assigned vehicles
• Recording trip details, fuel consumption and mileage accurately
• Ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout journeys
• Adhering to designated routes and schedules as provided by management
• Responding professionally to passenger inquiries and concerns
• Reporting any vehicle defects or mechanical issues to the maintenance team immediately
• Complying with all relevant traffic regulations and transport safety standards

What we're looking for

• A valid Professional Driver's License (PDL) with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional driving experience
• Strong knowledge of Metro Manila roads and routes
• Excellent driving skills with a commitment to road safety
• Ability to maintain vehicles in good working condition
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability, punctuality and professionalism
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and evenings
• A customer-focused approach with a willingness to go the extra mile
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role

Since then, the company has provided a Motor Vehicle Inspection System (MVIS) to ensure the riding public's roadworthiness and safety. In that pursuit, the company supplies systems for the public and private sectors. Our principal customer industries are companies that applied and were approved by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) for the application of operating an MVIS in their respective location in the Philippines.
