We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our logistics team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight, goods, and equipment across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route planning, and cargo handling will be essential in maintaining our high standards of service. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized vehicles for over-the-road (OTR) routes.
• Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations.
• Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured according to safety standards.
• Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other applicable safety protocols.
• Transport hazardous or dangerous goods in accordance with hazardous materials regulations and company policies.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving.
• Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including freight handling for refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning on over-the-road (OTR) routes.
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and confidently.
• Understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures for various types of freight, including hazardous materials and dangerous goods.
• Strong adherence to FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazard materials regulations, and safety standards for commercial driving.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Pay: $25.53 - $30.75 per hour
