Newspaper Delivery Driver

The Times-Journal is seeking a reliable and dependable Delivery Driver to assist with the timely and accurate delivery of newspapers to customers and designated locations. This position is ideal for someone who works well independently, is organized, and takes pride in providing dependable service.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up, organize, and prepare newspapers for delivery.
• Complete assigned delivery routes accurately and on schedule.
• Deliver newspapers to the correct homes, businesses, and designated locations.
• Protect newspapers from rain and other weather conditions when necessary.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and promptly report missed, damaged, or undeliverable newspapers.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with customers.
• Maintain a reliable vehicle and transportation necessary to complete assigned routes.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company guidelines while making deliveries.
• Communicate any delivery issues or route concerns with management.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work during early morning hours as needed.
• Comfortable working and driving in a variety of weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to safely load, carry, and handle bundles of newspapers.

Pay: $500.00 - $2,200.00 per month
