Driver

Fritz Metals, LLC is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Non-CDL Driver to join our team in Decatur, Texas. This position is responsible for delivering fabricated steel, materials, tools, and supplies to jobsites and vendors while representing Fritz Metals in a professional manner.

No CDL is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company trucks and approved non-CDL vehicles
• Deliver fabricated steel, materials, tools, and supplies to jobsites
• Pick up materials and equipment from vendors
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
• Properly secure all materials before transport
• Inspect the vehicle and load before leaving the shop
• Maintain delivery paperwork and communicate with shop and project personnel
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws
• Help around the shop when deliveries are not scheduled

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Experience driving trucks and pulling trailers preferred
• Ability to safely secure and transport materials
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Comfortable driving throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area and surrounding communities
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Construction, steel fabrication, or delivery experience is helpful but not required

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
